William Joiner, Trumpet

William Joiner began his musical pursuit on the trumpet in sixth grade
band at the age of 11. During High School, he began taking private
lessons and played in local community bands in the area. After High
School he enrolled and completed his degree in trumpet performance at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. During his undergraduate years, William played in the University Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Trumpet Ensemble.  William went on to further his studies at the University of Louisville where he completed his masters in Trumpet Performance. Outside of school William teaches private students, plays in local music groups, and is an active member of the Bourbon and Brass Company and Indie-Rock group DOOM GONG.
