Originally from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Josh Lang moved to Kentucky and began his musical journey. He began playing the Tenor Trombone in 2011 and the Alto Trombone in 2018. While studying at the University of Louisville, Josh had several unique performing opportunities. He spent two years as a member of the Sackbut Choir and was a founding member of the Sideshow Brass Quintet. In 2021, he finished his Bachelor's degree at the University of Louisville under the direction of Dr. Brett Shuster and moved on to Columbus, Georgia where he studied with Dr Bradley Palmer. While at Columbus State University, Josh was also a member of the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, Josh returned to Kentucky and joined the Bourbon and Brass Company, as well as continued his journey as a freelance musician. Josh currently works at Conrad Music Service as an apprentice brass repair technician.
